He details why it’s challenging to spot alcohol addiction amidst the drinking culture in Britain. This is backed up by Mel Curtis, who describes her first role in media: “The whole drinking culture was not just accepted, but expected,” she explains. “The façade quickly faded,” she adds, recounting how she simultaneously balanced her addiction and her career.
