COVID-19 Updates & Safety Measures
In this time of uncertainty, one thing remains the same: that our number one priority is and will always be to protect and care for our clients, staff, families and friends.
The UKAT team are continually monitoring and responding to the pandemic as it evolves. We are taking every appropriate step in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Public Health England.
We remain committed to welcoming new clients in need of help, providing high-quality treatment to everyone in our care and serving our communities.
Update as of May 2023
Restoring services to optimal functionality
While steadfastly maintaining the necessary COVID-19 safety measures, we are thrilled to reintroduce regular structures and routines. UKAT prioritises the health and safety of everyone involved, ensuring that protective measures are upheld throughout our clinics.
With a delicate balance between caution and optimism, we embrace the return of familiar routines and normalcy while remaining committed to preserving a secure and healthy environment for all.
Some daily operations that have restarted include:
- Fellowship meetings ( both external and internal) have restarted, providing clients with valuable opportunities to engage in support groups during their treatment.
- Family visits from the 17th of June, 2023, strengthening the support network available throughout treatment.
- External gym facilities are now available for centres without on-site gyms.
- Various therapies have no longer been paused.
- Social distancing regulations have been lifted and relaxed.
While certain services are resuming in-person, our online aftercare and family group sessions have been remarkably effective, allowing us to continue with this format. This allows more clients to attend aftercare and benefit from ongoing support whilst enabling greater participation from family members in the recovery process, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
At UKAT, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing exceptional care and support throughout our clinics for our clients. Our dedication to health, safety, and recovery remains unwavering as we navigate these challenging times. Despite uncertain circumstances, we will continue to triumph over adversity and provide the necessary help. If you wish to find out more about our COVID-19 guidelines, don’t hesitate to contact our admissions team who can answer any questions you may have.
