I found Linwood very welcoming, I was apprehensive at the start but I soon settled. The staff are friendly. I experienced genuine support. I found Gaynor very approachable and she was amazing in therapy, firm but fair. I am ready for my next stage in recovery, one day at a time. If you want to get sober, Linwood's the place to be.

Overall my experience was interesting. I learnt a lot about myself, was put back together and found groups very good. I enjoyed Phoebe's DBT and found this very useful.

Hi, I think it's fair to say that my stay at Linwood house has been lifechanging. The fact that I was ready to make big changes in my life and receive help from professionals was a milestone in itself but having the perfect balance of being in a well established and equipped setting with a robust and structured format was paramount to the successful forming of a solid foundation to start my recovery.
What a life changing experience, I felt I was to far gone and there was no way back how wrong was I. I feel so amazing with my life and outlook, the staff are amazing and the programme they they run is fantastic. Highly recommended
