Thank you sanctuary lodge for giving me the help I needed to begin my journey on sobriety. The food was great, rooms cleaned regularly and the support staff were amazing. Luda was always seen to be going above and beyond for clients and was a positive impact and light in the sanctuary. Kat has been a great therapist for me and has been honest with me and opened my eyes with what I need to implement for me to have a chance at sobriety. The workshops and group meetings on a regular basis have made me feel equipped with the tools I need to succeed in recovery and I feel confident that I will be only returning to the lodge for my client share in 6 months. I have been at Sanctuary Lodge for four weeks. The therapist and support team have been great. The group therapy and one to one sessions have been really helpful. The holistic therapy such as meditation, yoga and the sound/gong bath have been really relaxing and beneficial for me. I feel ready in my future recovery and confident that I am now equipped with the tools going forward. Andy, Kat, Michael and Annie were superb. Derek, Luda, Ray, Leanne and the rest of the support team are all really friendly and supportive. The only critic I have is that website for the Sanctuary Lodge is not entirely accurate. The gym is not ‘state of the art’ and the rooms are comfortable but not luxury in my opinion. The food however is delicious!

I have been here for almost 6weeks. I feel ready and equipped with tools for my recovery. The support staff have been amazing especially Luda who spent time with me when I had questions and was so knowledgeable about how the brain works in addiction. All support staff are friendly and helpful. Therapist Andi, Michael, Annie all great and knowledgeable. Unfortunately Annie left halfway through. She missed a-lot she had a lovely approach, empathetic and her meditations were great! Loved the holistic side of the therapy with Lisa who did Yoga and gong baths I found Lisa knowledgeable and this is something I will continue. The food is very Tasty and the Chefs Tony and Liz are great people friendly and both amazing Chefs. Wendy and Shane did an a,azing job keeping my room and public areas clean. Sophie also lovely on reception. It was advertised as having acupuncture weekly unfortunately This didn’t happen and was promised so this is a great shame!! Towards the end of my stay it was a bit all over the place…. Not very organised with groups not knowing which rooms they were in and peoples step 1s taking long time to present. It has helped though and I’m grateful to all the staff at Sanctuary lodge.
