My time at Linwood has been quite a journey. I had no idea what to expect but overall feel ready and well equipped for life on the outside. My therapy one on one sessions have been valuable and enlightening. The days have structure with staff support but the residents themselves support and aid recovery in a way that I was not expecting (in a good way). The accommodation is comfortable, clean and food acceptable. There are rules to be followed but they are all justified and necessary to aid recovery. The therapists assist your recovery but fellow residents help in ways that was unexpected. By sharing experiences with like minded people a realisation that your not alone is priceless. Overall I would recommend Linwood for treatment.

Its amazed me in all honesty. Very clean comfortable, very welcoming from staff as well as patients if that is what we would call ourselves brilliant step programme, all staff have been brilliant throughout my 28days here, love them all, met and shared group meeting and have built good friendships with some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Leaving mentally strong and best of all clean and sober. I would highly recommend linwood house for anybody struggling and battling addiction

Therapy sessions was really helpfull especially one to one sessions, clean and tidy centre, food was ok could be better some days but all round was good. All staff very helpfull.

I found my experience very welcoming. It felt like home after a week. The group sessions were the most interactive part and i felt as thiugh they were the most therapy i got because id learn abut other peoples experiences and hear many different opinions on my situatiom and got a lot of positive feedback. DBT was also very usefuk as it helped me put words to my feelings which helped me ujderstand how my brain works better. The facilities are up to stand but cleanliness in communal areas was a problem
